At Sonder State Aesthetics in Worthington, every treatment is planned and performed by Jessye Okuley, PA-C, a board-certified Physician Assistant and national injector trainer.

The quick answer: Botox, Dysport, Letybo and Daxxify are all FDA-approved neuromodulators that relax targeted muscles to smooth expression lines. Appointments take about 20 minutes, there is little to no downtime, and results typically settle in over one to two weeks. Most clients return every three to four months.

Which wrinkle relaxer is right for you

  • Botox: the most studied neuromodulator and a trusted standard. $13/unit (40+ units), $15/unit under 40
  • Dysport: spreads slightly more, often chosen for the forehead. $4.30/unit (120+ units), $5/unit under 120
  • Letybo: the newest FDA-approved option in the U.S. $10/unit
  • Daxxify: designed for longer-lasting results. $7 to $8/unit

Units work differently from product to product, so the unit counts and prices aren’t directly comparable. During your consultation, Jessye recommends the product and dose based on your anatomy, goals and history.

What to expect

Your first visit begins with a conversation about what you notice and what you want to keep. Jessye maps the treatment to how your face moves, then places a series of small injections. Most clients describe a brief pinch. You can return to your day right after.

Results begin to appear in a few days and are fully settled at about two weeks, when we invite first-time clients back for a complimentary check-in.

For most clients, results last three to four months. Many people find that with consistent treatment, the time between visits gradually stretches.

At Sonder State, Botox is $13 per unit for treatments of 40 units or more and $15 per unit under 40. A typical forehead and frown-line treatment uses 20 to 40 units, and your exact plan is set during your consultation.

All three relax the muscles that cause expression lines. They differ in how they spread, how quickly they take effect, and how they’re dosed. Jessye recommends one based on the area and your goals.

Most clients feel a quick pinch at each injection point. The appointment takes about 20 minutes.

Very little. Avoid lying down, strenuous exercise and rubbing the area for the rest of the day. Small bumps at injection sites usually fade within an hour.

Changes begin in a few days, with full results at about two weeks.
