With more than 14 combined years of Aesthetics experience, the staff at Sonder State are committed to the client experience and an education-first approach to every appointment. This isn’t just for clients, either. Sonder State Aesthetics offers a variety of training, workshops, and consultation for medical spas and licensed practitioners.

MEET THE TEAM

Jessye Okuley

Jessye Okuley is a nationally board-certified and state-of-Ohio certified Physician Assistant (PA) with ten years of medical experience, specializing in undereye fillers, cheek and lip fillers, and wrinkle relaxers. Before working in aesthetics, Jessye spent over seven years in orthopedic surgery. She earned a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University and an undergraduate biology degree from Ohio University. Before launching Sonder State, Jessye was a lead clinical trainer and injector.

Her love of aesthetics began with a passion for helping people look and feel their best. She focused on natural-looking results and personalized skincare routines, prioritizing approachability and client education. She is a member of the American MedSpa Association (AMSPA).

Cody Jackson, Lead Aesthetician

Cody Jackson is a licensed Lead Aesthetician in the state of Ohio with 17 years of experience in medical aesthetics. She specializes in signature facials, DiamondGlow treatments, dermaplaning, and chemical peels, with a reputation for delivering results-driven care rooted in education and trust.

Before joining Sonder State Aesthetics, Cody worked as both a medical assistant and aesthetician, helping build and scale aesthetician practices and service menus across a variety of medical spas. She completed her aesthetic training through Fortis Colleges and Institutes and has pursued advanced certifications in cosmetic tattooing and permanent makeup, as well as Skinbetter Science and SkinCeuticals.

At Sonder State Aesthetics, Cody leads the aesthetician practice and works closely with patients to develop thoughtful, long-term treatment plans. She is known for her calming presence, transparent approach, and clear communication around expectations—ensuring each client feels informed, confident, and cared for at every step.

Training Experience

We are passionate about offering training and teaching new skill sets that align with promoting natural results and continuity of care. We emphasize creating and facilitating learning environments that are intimate, personalized and curated to the attendee’s most significant needs and interests.

Specialized in Neuromodulators, including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau.
Highly skilled and experienced in injectable fillers—Lip, Mid-face, Undereye, Chin, Temple, Jawline, and Hand.
Received active training in Coolsculpting, Genius RF microneedling, PRP, and Cutera lasers
